My success is from God says Skeffa of Chinakuluma Chakuda fame

Musician of the moment Skeffa Chimoto has attributed his music success to the power of God who he says has blessed  him to sail through along his music career .

Chimoto made the sentiments on Saturday night when he performed at Zembani Lodge in the Eastern District of Balaka.

“All my success comes from God and for me to be where I am today, it is because of the power of God,” said the secular artist in front of a jam packed Zembani Lodge.

He further advised fellow musicians to be humble and  put God first in all their deeds.

“It is not good for us musicians to feel that we are on top of the world but to remain humble and focused,” he advised.

Skeffa who performed for more than three hours non-stop dished out songs from his previous albums and the latest album which is selling like hot cakes entitled “Chinamuluma Chakuda”.

But it was two songs from his brand new album Dalitsani Okondedwa and the title truck Chinamuluma Chakuda that mesmerized the audience.

The patrons could not hesitate but to dance and sing along to the tunes that are enjoying the airwaves.

In Okondedwa, Skeffa is pleading with God to bless his partner since she is the only one on the mother earth that makes him to feel complete.

In the Chinamuluma Chakuda hit, the artist talks of a person who was once in love but don’t dare anymore being in a relationship after being disappointed by a partner.

By the time Skeffa was about to leave the stage around 2:15am, the patrons were still asking for more and he could not hesitate but to dish out four more songs before waving goodbye.

He was backed by his Real Sounds Band.

The brand new Chinamuluma Chakuda album has 11 tracks and is currently enjoying massive airplay on local radio stations.
