Only two out of the total list have switched from what can be tamed as big clubs having tested the Super League waters.

These are Trevor Kalima,  who has switched from Premier Bet Wizard and Hygiene Mwandepeka from one of the 2016 relegated sides Karonga United.

Both the Club team manager Francis Songo and Chairman Ralph Tseka who were present at the unveiling ceremony said the development will boost the levels of competitiveness since the players will workextra hard to fight for and win a place in the first team.

Songo and Tseka promised all bankers that 2017 is a season they will  fight from all cylinders to win  and domestic cups including the Super League Championship.

Included on the list of new signings are three midfielders, four defenders and also four midfielders.

The other players are Thoko Ngwira from Central Region Football Lower League side Mbabvi United, Mphatso Chimtondo (Free agent) and Hadji Wali, Ronald Pangani and Frank Chizuze who have been recruited from the club’s Reserve Side.

The Bankers will have a rehearsal of the new soccer season through their participation in the Wafa Wafa Big Four Bonanza kicking off  Saturday at Bingu National Stadium in Lilongwe.

They will play Kamuzu Barracks in an early kick off on Saturday and if the win, they will progress to face winners between Mighty Be Forwards Wanderers and Nyasa Big Bullets in the finals of the Bonanza on Sunday afternoon at the same venue.
