3 arrested in Ndirande for K11.2 million theft at Terrastone company

Malawi Police in the squatter township of Ndirande in Blantyre City have arrested  three people suspected to have  broken into Terrastone  company premises in April 2019 and stealing K11.2 million.

Spokeswoman for Ndirande  Police Sub-Station, Edna Mzingwitsa identified the suspects as  Milwad Chikoko, 55, an ex-convict from Kaziko Village,  Traditional Authority (T/A) Malemia in Zomba, Benson Chitekwe, 28, from Ngwenya Village, T/A Chigalu in Blantyre and Jimmy Chilanga, 31, from Kapal Village, T/A Nselema in Machinga.

The three have  been  charged with breaking into a building and committing a felony therein.

They will be taken to court for trial.
