There were shocking revelations when Mzuzu Second Grade Magistrate convicted and imposed jail term on Chibavi Community Day Secondary  student Peter Mhango for repeatedly defiling an eight-year-old girl.

Mhango was sentenced to 18 years imprisonment with hard labour on Wednesday last week, but shocked the court when he revealed that he was a member of a Satanic sex cult and that his under-dealings were a fulfillment of a covenant with the devil.

It was revealed in court that Mhango had been defiling the girl, who happen to be a relation,  on several occasions between 2015 and 2016.

State Prosecutor Betty Msowoya told the court that Mhango’s mother and the mother to the convict are sisters, and that the ‘Satanic’ used to sneak into victim’s room at night to sexually abuse her.

The issue came to light on 11th April, 2016 when the convict wanted to have sex romps with victim’s friend who denied.

The victim’s friend then reported to her grandmother and revealed that Mhango had been having cult sex sessions with her friend (the victim). When the victim was quizzed on the issue she admitted.

The matter was reported to Luwinga Police who referred the victim to Mzuzu Central Hospital.

Medical report indicated defilement has been taking place.

Mhango voluntarily pleaded guilty to the charge.

However, it was during mitigation that Mhango revealed that he had been defiling the victim in order to feed the spiritual demon which has been tormenting him since he was in standard five.

He said defiling children was a fulfillment of the covenant he made when he joined the Satanic Cult.

Magistrate Major Mbewe slapped him with 18-year-jail-term on acts of sexual perversion linked to his activities in the cult under Section 138 of the Penal Code not only to teach him a lesson but also deter other would be offenders.

Mhango comes from Sonda village, T/A Mtwalo in Mzimba district.

Some people commenting on this post seem to be very ignorant about the existence of Satanism and its operations. People have been initiated into Satanism at birth and others at the tender age of two. Read the story of the Redemption of sister Grace Iwhere then you will know the horrors and burden this occult system can do to its participants.

Remember that we are in a spiritual war (Ephesians 6:12 down wards). Only those that have an every day relationship with Christ in Spirit and truth can discern and understand what I am talking about.

Satanic sex could be exiting or not since it always happens beyond our real senses. I think it needs other ways to punish such offenders unless there are satanic prisons in Malawi.
