veteran musician Kwilimbe dies

Veteran musician and former government’s Director of Culture (Arts and Crafts), Bernard Kwilimbe has died.

Kwilimbe died on Sunday evening at Kamuzu Central Hospital (KCH) where he was admitted.

According to family members, funeral service for the musician will be held Tuesday at the hospital’s morgue before the body being taken to Area 25- his residence.

The family is expected to hold mass at St. Martins Anglican Church (Area 25) in the afternoon.

Burial will take place in his home district of Nkhotakota on Tuesday 5 September,2017.

Kwilimbe was instrumental in the formation of Music Crossroads Malawi chapter.
