Silver Strikers beat Ekhaya to stay top of FDH Bank Premiership
Silver Strikers moved further clear at the top of the FDH Bank Premiership with a 3-0 win over Ekhaya FC at Silver Stadium in Lilongwe.

The victory takes the Central Bankers to 28 points from 13 matches.
The first half was tightly contested with few clear chances, and the teams went into the break goalless.
Silver Strikers broke the deadlock through Zebron Kalima in the 59th minute, and he added a second three minutes later to put the home side in control. Emmanuel Allan completed the scoring in the 91st minute.
Silver Strikers assistant coach Mapopa Msukwa said the team could not afford to be complacent despite their position at the top of the table.
“The 28 points at the summit should not give us too much confidence. As a team, we have to strive for more,” he said.
Ekhaya head coach Enos Chatama said a lack of concentration had cost his side, but felt there were lessons to take forward.
“We lacked concentration, but we have learned a lot from this match that will take us through the whole season,” he said.
