Area 18B based Slyvia Hamisi, 46, got herself a dinner voucher for two at the Latitude on Valentine day.

To enter into the promotion, customers had to buy two of 200 grams or four of 100 grams of Lux soap of any various brand from Chipiku Plus shop at Game Stores compus.

Other lucky customers won instant prizes like wine, chocolate and wine glasses among others.

In an interview with Nyasa Times,  Hamisi said as a long time customer of Unilever products, she was excited to have a chance to celebrate valentine day in  a very special way than before.

“This is a first to me, in the past it has always been a normal day but this year I will have to choose any person who will be free to accompany  me,” said Hamisi, a secretary attached to the Deputy Director at the
Department of Nutrition.

The ball was run for a week.

Unilever Central and Northern Malawi Territory Manager Zacharia Nyirenda said they were happy with the response of the customers during the ball.

“We thought of celebrating valentine day with our customers with our Lux brand and the response was  very great.

“This is just one of the things we have lined up for our customers this year. There are a lot of good things to come,” he said.
