ACB hires Kamudoni to beef up cashgate prosecution team

Graft busting body, the Anti Corruprion Bureau (ACB) has  hired the services of experienced prosecuting lawyer Kamudoni Nyasulu to help with cashgate cases.

ACB’s Egritta Ndala confirmed the former Director of public prosecutions has signed a one year contract with the ACB.

Kamudoni could not be reached for comment but he has prosecuted some of the profile cashgate cases and secured convictions in almost all cases he handled.

He is an experienced international lawyer who has worked for the UN.

Ndala said Kamudoni reported for duties last week.

He is renowned to have prosecuted former head of state Kamuzu Banda, his confidante Mama C Tamanda Kadzamira and John Tembo, Kamuzu strongman in the infamous Mwanza case.
