Mwenifumbo, gave up AFORD to stand as a DPP candidate, then abandoned DPP to support Joyce Banda. At the last elections and stood as an Independent. He abandoned AFORD but has realised that AFORD leadership would give him a place at the table. This man Mwenifumbo is a destructive force in Malawi politics. If they claim that they were induced by money to endorse Mwenifumbo, what guarantee will Mr Misomali give Malawians that this time round he has not been given money to declare Chihana as the rightful president of AFORD? Mr Misomali is a sellout and not fit to hold any leadership position in any institution.
