Chisi–who will be standing on the Alliance for Democracy (AFORD) ticket and is the party’s vice president spoke in the Constituency on Monday where he also urged people to register for the elections en masse.

“It is not on for us to fight each other because of politics. We are one, and let us not make politics divide us,” said the youthful politician.

The professional valour said should he be voted into power he will make issues regarding the youth a priority.

“It is sad that for a long time the youth in this Constituency have been taken for granted. Once in power I will correct this,” he said.

Chisi is one of the contestants that want to unseat incumbent Jacob Ngwira who has been embroiled in a number of things including  Constituency Development Fund (CDF) mismanagement.

Ngwira has become less popular, also, because of failure to live by his campaign promises.

Mzimba, the largest district in Malawi, is one of the 28 districts in the world’s poorest country.
