Albino massacre fight in Malawi: Police recover child’s bones, more suspects nabbed
Malawi Police in Kasungu have recovered bones believed to belong to a year and eleven month child who reportedly went missing on the fourth of last month, Nyasa Times has learnt.
Reports indicate that nine days later, the skull, teeth, clothes and napkin that belonged to the missing girl were found in the hills of Balanta in the area of Traditional Authority Kapichira in Kasungu District.
According to police, the father of the child, White Chilumpha, 26, and his friend James Kanjira, 19, were arrested as suspects of the murder of the deceased.
And, Thursday, as the investigations were in progress three other suspects: Lastone Phiri, 24, Deus Kabango, 21, and Alfred Mwale, 18, were arrested after revealing that they committed the crime during police enquiries.
The suspects later revealed the place where they had buried the bones they removed from the murdered girl.
With police escort, the suspects located the place where the bones were recovered.
Meanwhile, the bones have been taken to Kamuzu Central Hospital for medical examinations. The five suspects have been charged with murder and will appear before court soon.

We have a big problem here. Why are these people being sentenced to some few years when they have killed a person. Is this government doing enough? I seems to me that you can murder people and get some fews years and thats ok. Protect the people with albinism and give harsh punishment to the killers.
These are really candidates for the death penalty.Forget the human rights groups and the west whose job is to protect misfits.Kill them now
I am not a big fun of death sentencing but in this particular case I would support 100%. The mother**ker have to die by hanging. Not even lethal injection.

Well done to our law enforcers for arresting these demons,courts should give stiffer punishments. Above all,may the grace of GOD be with the bereaved families.
The advert on MBC goes like this ; Presidential assurance on albino security!!!! ”My government has learned with shock on how albinos are brutally killed. I would like to assure all Malawians that my government will track down these criminals until we apprehend them”. I think this president does not know what to do on this issue. He likes to talk and yet he does nothing. I feel sorry for our brothers and sisters with albinism.
