Alfred Manyozo Jnr rejoins Wanderers from Santos in Botswana
Workhorse midfielder, Alfred Manyozo Jnr has rejoined his former club, Mighty Be Forward Wanderers from Botswana where he went to complete his contract with Santos FC.
Manyozo said he was delighted to have renewed his romance with the Nomads, emphasizing that he loves the team.
“I am very happy to be back at home, more specifically at Wanderers where l enjoy my game. I love the team and I am ready to play with my whole heart,” he said on Tuesday, after the afternoon training session in Chiwembe.
Wanderers’ team manager, Steve Madeira said they were happy to have Manyozo back in their squad.
“We’re very pleased to have Manyozo back in our team. He is a player of real quality, with a fantastic work rate and great mentality. As you know, Manyozo is not only a strong midfielder, but is also comfortable playing in defence. He is a very good addition to our squad.”
Manyozo, is the eighth arrival at Lali-Lubani this summer after Japanese Genki Nakamura, Nigerian Amos Bello, Ernest Tambe and Rafiq Namwera from Wizards FC, Peter Wadabwa from Silver Strikers, Foster Namwera who was in Mozambique and Jimmy Zakazaka who was also in Botswana.
He could go straight into the squad for Saturday’s derby against Nyasa Big Bullets at the Kamuzu Stadium.
