Assistant Public Relations for police southern region, Peter Mchiza, confirmed that Chikondi Saidi, 26 was picked by law enforcers after witnesses reported him to the police.

Saidi reportedly stoned the billboard of Decent and Affordable Housing Subsidy Programme message bearing Mutharika’s face.

He packed dozens of stones at Lunzu Primary School last Thursday and started stoning the bill board.

“We arrested him for vandalism,” Mchiza said.

Mchiza said his behaviour could have provoked violence.

Saidi comes from Mazale village in Traditional Authority Kapeni in Blantyre.

He faces up to five years in jail if convicted.

I see no issue here! Remember that the billboard, even it contains the face of a head of state, is and does not become a protected emblem in Malawi.

Its the current economic situation that basically made him look at the face of APM with hate and bitterness – bad memories of his lost and wated vote, never to be redeemed.

All Malawians who love this nation need to accept that this is an act of bitterness with a misplaced course of action that can be understood considering the tough economic times

Behaviuor is so important gentlemen in thai it covers conduct, out put and discipline among other things. Let us think of someone who is good at producing a good quality wooden chair but after destroying and wasting too much timber is a good artisan.
