Asians in fierce fight with fuel attendants

The scarcity of fuel in the country wore its ugly face in the early hours of Saturday when some Asians lost temper and engaged in a fight with fuel attendants at Admarc Total Filling Station in Limbe because the attendants were allegedly  hoarding fuel.

The fuel attendants annoyed all motorists who were fueling at the filling station after midnight because they favoured jerry cans at that time of the night.

They were seen collecting some money from owners of the zigubu to the annoyance of everybody. It took over 20 minutes for another vehicle to fuel.

Fuel Crisis refuses to end on festivities

At some point, the fuel lady fuel attendant who was there said there was no more fuel but the motorists did not believe her and demanded fueling. Surprisingly, the fueling continued.

After about 40 minutes, the attendants said fuel was finished and that annoyed everybody. Nobody believed that the fuel was finished.

Trouble began at that point as some Asians invaded the mini shop at the station and confronted the attendants arguing that they were keeping fuel for their friends. The Asians invaded into another room in the shop where they pointed at the jerry cans which the attendants wanted to fuel.

One attendant punched one Asian for invading the private room. That did not go down well with the other Asians who pounced on the attendant. It took other more Asians to control the situation.

As if that was not enough, after the fighters were forced outside the shop, the attendant yelled at the Asian he was fighting with and warned that he would deal with him any day.

That annoyed the Asian who was going to his vehicle. He returned and kicked the attendant to the floor. Blows flew and other Asians joined the fight hitting the attendant. Later, some of the Asians controlled the fight.

After the fight, motorists left the place but insisting that there was fuel and the attendants were hoarding it for other customers.
