Atupele gets Likuni CCAP ‘blessings’ for donation towards church building

Blessed is the hand that giveth -that is the biblical message Reverend  Harry  Nkhoma  of Likuni CCAP located in T/A Malili in  Lilongwe delivered to United Democratic Front (UDF) president and  lawmaker Atupele Muluzi when donated K1 million kwacha  to the church during the fundraising ‘paper Sunday’  the church organized.

Rev Nkhoma said the money will go long way in completion of the their church project which has delayed due to lack of funds.

He said the church specifically invited Atupele because he is son of the soil as his mother comes from same area, adding that his aunt Esnart Muluzi is a member  of the church.

The cleric citing the bible book of Luke, pointed out that “ give, and it will be given to you.”

Speaking after the ceremony,Muluzi told the CCAP followers that he was grateful to the church for inviting him and urged them to God-fearing.

Accompanied by  UDF vice president Iqbal Omar and other party officials,yMuluzi  said as God fearing person, he always
associate with religious people  and work together to build a better Malawi.

The three day ceremony was organized by five churches in  Likuni CCPA, Kaning’a, Chimbalame, Bwaila CCAP under Nkhoma Synod.

According the Rev Nkhoma the church targeted K1.2milion to complete their much awaited project.
