Barry One says next album to target wider audience
Musician Barry One has said his upcoming gospel album targets a heterogeneous audience, diverting from his previous approach in which he targeted the hip/hop world.
The artist, also known as Uno recently revealed that he was working on his untitled gospel album which could also be his last package in his musical career.
“My album is to focus on making a very big impact to the society. I don’t aim to be crowned the best at what I do but rather making great music for different types of people and focused on touching souls of all different classes of people, different generations, not just the hip hop world,” he explained.
He told Mana that he was planning to have 11 to 12 songs in the album but could not reveal who he plans to feature.
“Right now I can’t really say since the album is still in progress. We will determine as we see how the outlay is. The album recording is great, I have recorded a few tracks and if all goes well I might be done by April or May,” he added.
Barry One is working with Daredevils, BFB, Percy Manyozo and God’s Fav on production.
