Bwana thukuta, akuluwa anasolola kwambiri. Over K400 billion was just cash. If you add the value of Chayamba building, Chibisa house and Bt. Standard bank building even though they were eventually sold, nguruyanawambe, Kamuzu Academy and many untraced property scattered across the world let alone the many farms in Malawi. Mdalayu anatakata.

The amount of money sitting in a Switzerland account is staggering and yet the country is suffering and has no money to fund its own recurring budget. Bingu amassed equally insane money with a number of properties abroad in his name. Peter is following suit including his cronies. Our taxpayers money is promoting development elsewhere with no benefit to the ordinary citizens and yet we keep sleeping and electing these thugs back into power to loot some more. What type of human are we Malawians? we are truly suckers for punishment and suffering…..its all we know.

This is why I tend to believe that we Malawians are the most sleepy and stupid people in the world. Firstly, Kamuzu must have appointed someone with the power of attorney or the family must have signed up a legal firm to wind up his estate. One of the two is keeping the death certificate and/or running the estate on behalf of the deceased. Someone somewhere is still benefitting from the proceeds of Kamuzu’s estate, the question is who is that person. In the absence of all, the Attorney General surely can obtain some sort of certificate from the High… Read more »

… and the list of incompetency is unending!
Kikiki Can’t solve the “riddle” of a missing Death Certificate for a former President of a country, for twenty years? What universe are Malawi lawyers operating in?

Its absurdity of grand proportions. No wonder our so called experts can’t solve the cashgate saga. I am sure if the govt were to engage an O Level student from the UK, he/she would close the case within 5 days. No wonder Malawians keep voting for clueless leaders with no finesse or vision. We are technically brain-dead.

£445 million in cash in the 90s? How much were his annual earnings? Rooting inalipo apa.
Death certificate mpaka kusowa? Umafia ungapose pamenepa? Ku Garden city clinic sanasunge copy? Katengeni copy kuti tidziwe katundu yemwe anasolola mkuluyi. Zikavutitsitsa mumufunse Jumani Kamuzu mwina angakuthandizeni. Remember, MCP as a party is part of his estate hence whoever is running it does so illegally. Let the administrators, NBM, run it and not the ones who are running it now.

Talk of the real family parties bro. No one else not from that blood can inherit it. Malawi is not a Kingdom, back off with your briefcase parties.
