BB’s Davie Banda has contract with Nomads
It never rains but pours for beleaguered Nyasa Big Bullets as their new catch Davie Banda from Nsanama Football Club appear to have two running contracts with both Bullets and their traditional rival Mighty Be Forward Wanderers.
Nyasa Times senior sports reporters have established that Banda who signed for Bullets a week ago has a running a running contract with Wanderers reserve side which he signed on 9 August, 2016.
Banda who was outstanding during last season’s Masters Security Premier league caught the eyes of the people’s team who signed the player on a 4 year contract with a signing fee of K200,000.00 per annum.
However, the former Nsanama star is reported to have signed another 5 year contract with Wanderers youth last year.
Wanderers General Secretary Mike Butao confirmed to Nyasa Times that the player already a long contract with them last year.
“We are not in a hurry. We have all the documentation regarding the matter and we are just waiting for the right time to provide our proof to FAM and SULOM. They (referring to Bullets) knew that the player was contracted to another team but went ahead to give him another contract,” said Butao.
Efforts to talk to both Bullets and FAM officials proved futile as they were reported to be busy with the ransfer deadline.
