Billy Kaunda donates to Super League rookies Kabwafu

Parliamentarian Billy Kaunda has applauded TNM Super League debutants Kabwafu F.C for their impressive start in their debut season and has donated 20 pairs of boots and three footballs.

“I have bought twenty pairs of boots and three balls to be used during training as a boost to the team” said the Mzimba West Legislature.

Kaunda expressed satisfaction with the team and expressed hope that the team will survive in the league.

“I am happy with the way the team is performing and I can assure you that the team will do better and survive in the league. I am the team’s number one supporter and I will always stand by them,” Kaunda said.

He therefore called upon all well-wishers to support the club financially or any other way to ensure it remains in the league.

The team beat their Mzuzu city rivals Moyale Barracks and Epac F.C by 2-1 and 2-0 respectively before losing to Mafco F.C 1-0.
