Bingu Tigress fears bleak sponsorship future

One of the netball giant, Bingu Tigress, which was being bankrolled by late President Bingu wa Mutharika fear a bleak future  following the demise of their sponsor

Tigresses’ team manager, Helene Mpinganjira, told the local press that her club was devastated, hopeless and heartbroken.

“We are disappointed. We didn’t know this will be the way we will part ways with our beloved father and leader,” she is quoted in the Daily Times.

Mpinganjira said she was doubtful about the future of the sponsorship.

“It will never be the same,” she said.

“ The future does not look good at all. But let us wait and see what happens. We are putting everything in God’s hands,” said Mpinganjira.

She told the paper that team abandoned training at the College of Medicine Sports Complex after learning of the president’s sudden illness on Thursday.
