The donation was made at a function which took place place on Wednesday at Bollore Africa Logistics Malawi Head Offices in Makata in the presence of World Vision Malawi Operations Manager Weston Kasinje and Bollore Africa Logistic Malawi Commercial Manager Richard Chikalipo.

Chikalipo said they partner with World Vision Malawi, who already is a strategic involved in the relief work.

“This donation is also one of the many corporate social responsibilities. We will also help with the transporatation of the blankets to the affected areas,” he said.

Kasinje thanked Ballore Africa Logistics Malawi for what he described as kind gesture.

“We do not take this for granted because for Bollore to trust WVI of all thousands of NGO’s in the country is not a joke. Let us assure you that the blankets donated will go to the right people,” he said.

He also urged other companies to emulate Bollore example by assisting with more materials towards the flood victims.

Kasinje said the blankets will be distributed in two districts of Phalombe and Mulanje
