Booze up: Carlsberg Malawi announce beer price hike
Beer bombshell! Guzzlers will dig deeper in their pockets as Carlsberg Malawi has announced price adjustments on all its alcoholic beverages with immediate effect.
Carlsberg Malawi Limited has hiked the prices of beer by 17 per cent.
The new official retail price for the popular Carlsberg Green (340ml) is now K180 while Carlsberg Special and Stout are both going at K200 with Kuche Kuche fetching K170.
The Carlsberg Green Light will be selling at MK230.
Nyasa Times also understands that opaque beer Chibuku is also set to be going up in prices.
