Following their pivotal win, Blantyre United they have now moved a step up the log table swapping places with Chikwawa united above them and Karonga United.

Rejected stone from  Mighty Wanderers Abraham Kamwendo, who was also voted man of the match was brilliant the entire game with well curved crosses and  scored the second goal on a spot kick after Osward Mawonga put his side .

This was the second victory consecutively for Blantyre United after they managed to beat Mighty Wanderers 1-0 last week.

Blantyre United coach Leo Mpulula said they will fight hard to escape relegation.

“I am very delighted with my boys because we have now won two games in a role. We will work hard until our last game against Bullets,” said Mpulula.

So far 184 matches have been played in the Super League in which 442 goals have been scored and so far 464 cards (23 red & 441 yellow) have been flashed.

However, it remains a three horse race  between Big Bullets, Moyale and Blue Eagles to the finishing line but following their lose to Kamuzu Barracks, Blue Eagles have reduced their chance of getting their first title considerably.

Blue Eagles are still the highest scoring team in the elite league having scored 45 goals while  Big Bullets and rookies Airborne
Rangers have the highest scoring home record since this far they have scored 24 home goals each.

Karonga United have yet to manage an away victory and have to try to do that in their remaining two matches. They  have also conceded the most goals after letting their goalkeepers do the shameful act of collecting the ball behind their goal 49 times.

With 18 goals conceded Big Bullets boost having the most water tight defense followed by their struggling rivals Mighty Wanderers and Moyale who have conceded 20 goals each.

Epac F.C have drawn the most 12 matches in the league,as Red Lions and Mighty Wanderers have a zero goal difference this far in the league.

Chikwawa United and Red Lions have accrued the most cards (39 cards each).
