The 20 track (WTW) project is truly worth the wait as it brings together the finest vocal features and productions.

According to Nde’feyo Entertainment Marketing Executive Funwayo Mhango, the title of the mixtape as it suggests is not about creating anticipation for Bucci’s upcoming album but rather a futuristic twisted concept about life as a journey in general.

“Life throws roses and thorns at us all as human beings. And every person has a 50-50 chance of success or failure. So, life is basically waiting for our arrival based on the odds. However, to a greater part, we are the captains of our own individual ships and we can stir our life to a better us which is worth waiting for, hence, “Worth The Wait”.

He further added that the mixtape focuses on motivating everyone, the target audience to make that wait worth it.

“It contains some spectacular, beautiful R&B, afro pop and a feel of house/dancehall music that will keep fans on their feet everywhere. The concept behind the mixtape appeals to both the youth and the old. As an entertainment company, we are trying our best to make sure that we deliver the best of both worlds, hence making sure we appeal to the whole population,” he stated.

The mixtape boasts of productions from Nde’feyo in house producer Gaffer, Daredevilz, Tricky Beatz, Black Eye, Yesaya and Bucci himself.

The release party will take place on Saturday, 28 May, from 1 PM, at the Chrichi Multi-Purpose Garden in Chitawira, Blantyre  and an after party at Bassment Night Club.

The release launch of the mixtape shall be supported by Fredokiss, Theo Thomson, Mafo, Saint, Classmates, Dali, Marcus, Toast, Trap Squad and Sangie as a guest artist.
