Bullets beat Silver, Moyale gun down Nomads

By Jeden Chilikunzako, Nyasa Times

Straight from a disastrous weekend in the southern region last weekend, struggling capital city giants Silver Strikers endured another frustrating afternoon at home as Bullets FC got the better of them with a 1 – 0 victory on Saturday.

It was a meeting of two underachievers in the TNM Super League this far and provided them with an opportunity to recover and get their campaign back on track.
Luka Muyawa’s only strike of the game won the match for the ‘people’s team’ making it two wins out of six games, drawing twice and losing twice.

For the central bankers, life is proving difficult with supporters losing their patience after one win in eight games.

At Kamuzu stadium, Moyale were on song against the disjointed Mighty Wanderers who lacked spark to deserve three points.

Bullets and Silver: The visitors won

Chikamveka Gwetsani’s powerful shot that hit the woodwork before hitting the back of the net made sure of three points for the soldiers from Kaning’ina.

High flying Embangweni United were stopped in their tracks by Salima based soldiers Mafco.

Chifundo Phimba’s lone goal made all the difference on their way to bagging maximum points.

Saturday’s TNM Super League classified results
Mighty Wanderers 0 Moyale 1
Mafco 1 Embangweni 0
Silver Strikers 0 Bullets FC 1
