Malawi champions Bullets FC have disclosed that they would secure sponsorship in the forthcoming season to take care of some of operation costs.
Bullets chairperson Kondie Msungama disclosed that the team would secure sponsorship for the players’ allowances.
“We are working on finding sponsorship so that the players should be able to receive some allowances. What people should know is that Bullets is a big brand and therefore should not struggle to secure sponsorship for the players,” Msungama said.
“Everyone wants to associate with a winning team so I am optimistic that under my leadership I will find a sponsor,” he added.
But the outspoken chairperson said the sponsorship was on small scale value while hoping to land a big one having already submitted their proposal to a Japanese Second hand car dealers Be Forward.
However, Msungama’s declaration should be taken with a pinch of salt as he once failed to live up to his words when Bullets when due to travel South Africa for pre-season games.
Bullets have won this year’s Super League season ending their nine-year drought complete with a double after winning the prestigious Carlsberg Cup.Follow and Subscribe Nyasa TV :
