Bullets crowned Malawi champions: TNM Super League

The peoples team, Big Bullets have been crowned Malawi football champions for the first time in nine years after beating their TNM Super League title challangers Moyale Barracks 1-0 on Saturday at the Kamuzu Stadium, Blantyre.
Bullets pint-sized striker Mussa Manyenje socred the vital goal on the 49 minute after connecting a cross from veteran striker Fischer Kondowe to hand the Bullets an unassailable 59 points.
The crowd pullers will have to play their last match against on December 6 against related Blantyre United for academic purposes.
The winning of the title for the red and white team sparked wild scenes of celebration in the commercial capital Blantyre.
Bullets supporters painted the streets of Blantyre red and white, especially the Makata road which leads to their populous base of the team in Ndirande township.
Supporters and players hailed coach Elias Kananji for guiding the squad to the title.
“He has been a fantastic tactician and credit should go to him,” said Kondowe.
Moyale coach Nicholas Mhango chose to hail his Northern Region charges for being certain of finishing second.
“I thank my boys that we have defended our position for two consecutive seasons. For us time will come to win the title. It was a crucial game; our counterparts were rough on us, but it is part of the game. We did not play our usual game they confused us psychologically,” Mhango.
Second-placed Moyale have 53 points with a game against Blue Eagles to wind up the campaign on December 6.

I congratulate BB for being crowned Super League champions with a game to spare!!!! I wish to salute my fellow BB supporters for refraining from violence even when the team lost. If supporters behave violently, in the end you punish your beloved team. If we had behaved violently, BB would not have been crowned champions as they would have been punished and this would have given the chance to rivals. Look at Mighty Wanders and Silver Strikers today! They are paying a heavy price for the violent conduct of their supporters last season. Our team officials also ensured that they resolved differences amicably without crippling the team and this also helped. Mighty Wanderes officials had a protracted war among them and this made a bad situation worse as it may be recalled that the team was in relegation zone for sometime this season! I also wish to salute TNM for their Supporter Mapeto initiative which has helped teams even those without official sponsors like BB to raise money. This money has helped a lot in the Bullets (and other team’s) causes. I hope this initiative continues. I also thank my fellow supporters for participating in the initiative. Let us continue to do so, not necessarily to win prizes but to help our team. Finally let me thank the technical panel for a job well done. However, if we are to participate in CAF Champions League, assuming our application is accepted by CAF, we need to polish up our finishing. We need to improve our finishing for open play, free kicks, corners and penalties, without sacrificing too much defense work. This is because we cannot go far in the competition if we continue to be wasteful because life will be much, much tougher out there. To do so more time need to be allocated in polishing finishing during training. Once again congrats BB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Wamkaka ndamwanso tiyi anzanga .Ndikumva kukoma mamemba nonse!
Big up bullets am proud of you guys. You have done a good job, let the world know that bullets is the boiggest club in mw. Palibenso club yomwe ingalimbane nayo pa nuyasa pano. I would like to congratulate Big bullets Football club for being crowned the champions of the land after mercilessly destroying all the amunitions that Moyale barracks had at Kamuzu stadium. This reminds me of the old days whereby Big bullets were always the talk of the town..I knew from the word go that this just ended season belongs to you and the other clubs were just escorting you to the promised land. You played your games with confidence. You emulated a very good example from our president (APM) who campaigned in a civilised manner, and no wonder he beat 11 contenders during the just ended elections.I finally wish you all the best during your future endeavour.
regards

We are the champions!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”” ana akwana.
I can not quite place the intention behind this USA flag. I see only inferiority complex behind it. You champion other countries instead of championing your own. Will Malawian flags fly in Baltimore or California stadiums? Pride in your own nationality colors!
Kodi match officials amavala bullet proofs? chonde ili ndifunso mundiyankhe amene mukudziwa. enawo ali kufupi ndikumapeto afufuma kwambiri.

Points deduction for Wanderers and Silver presented greatest opportunity for BB to be champions for the first time in nine years. Lets see what happens next season when all teams compete fairly. Nevertheless, congrats BB

Congratulations to The Bullets Family. Much credits should go to Coach Elia ‘Guadiola’ Kananji for achieving what u were employed for. Tanyozedwa mokwanira ndipo its now time to show Malawians that Mpira umakhala ku Blantyre d commercial city and not Lilongwe. Next season, ukweche uliponso.
