The Peoples team showed no mercy to the Super League rookies as they pumped 5 goals to 2.
Bashir Maunde gave Bullets the lead on 7 minutes before Eneya Banda made it 2-0 after Amadu Mapira for Dedza Young Soccer missed a penalty.
As Biafra Stands was on cloud nine celebrating Banda’s goal from a 25 metre grounder, Christopher Banda pulled one back with a beauty firing from 30 yards out.
Sensing danger, the Peoples Team accelerated their gear before man of the moment, Banda with a hard grounder beats Dedza keeper through near post.
Chiukepo Msowoya added woes on the new rookies, as he scored the third goal on the spot kick after Dave Ng’ambi was tripped in the box.
Free kick specialists Yamikani ‘Headmaster’ Fodya nailed the fifth nail on Dedza’s coffin before Kasweel Gamphani scored the second goal for Dedza following a Bushir Maunde’s blunder in the box.
Big Bullets coach Llyod Nkhwazi saluted his troops for their victory but also hailed Dedza Young Soccer as a hard nut to cracker.
“They are a good side despite losing by such a goal margin. They gave us a scare in their first half but l just told my boys not to underrate them,” said Nkhwazi.
Big Bullets next assignment is against Red Lions on Saturday in Zomba.
