Nyasa Big Bullets  has scarpped position of General Secretary  and treasurer in the composition of its executive committee during a meeting in Lilongwe attended by trustees and main supporters committee.

Noel Lipipa: Seeks new mandate as chair

The meeting also resolved that the club should hold elections on March 18, 2017 which will be for positions of chairperson, vice chairperson and publicity secretary.

Board of trustees secretary Jim Kalua said the resolutions re in line with club’s commercialisation and licencing system.

Said the development means Bullets will have a “fully-fledged secretariat” with permanent hired staff to run the club.

Kalua said the venue of the elections will be announced later.

Meanwhile,  former Bullets chairperson Kondi Msungama wants to contest against incumbent Noel Lipipa for the top job.

The former chairperson, who was forced to resign in 2015 by supporters over internal wrangles, has accused the club’s board of trustees of frustrating his campaign.
