Bullets skipper upbeat of title defence, hails Lipipa K1mil prize
Nyasa Big Bullets Captain Chiukepo Msowoya said he is confident that his side will bag in all the maximum points in their last two league games in a bid to return the TNM Super League.
Msowoya was speaking ahead of their tricky and crucial encounter against strugglers and relegation threatened Civo United slatted for Friday at the Kamuzu Stadium.
“We will work extra hard and make sure that we win our remaining games. We are promising our supporters and executive nothing but three points against Civo,” said Msowoya.
He said this is possible because everyone in Bullets Camp is eager to lift second silverware of the season.
Msowoya went further to hail club Chairman Noel Lipipa for personally pledging K1 Million prize money if the team manage to defend the title.
“We thank the Chairman for the pledge which has just come in time. This will motivate us to do better” he said.
Bullets need to win all their remaining two games and pray that Kamuzu Barracks lose or draw one of their remaining games.
Kamuzu Barracks are the current league leaders with 55 points one ahead of second placed Bullets.
Central Region giants Silver Strikers are on third with 53 points, Blue Eagles on fourth with 51 while Mafco are on fifth position with 50 points.
All the top five teams have so far played 28 games and are remaining with two each to wind up the season.
I am eagerly Looking Forward for my N B B To Sink Civo, For Lipipa That Is Welcome Development However, It Could Sound Better If He Did This By The Time We had 8 Games To Play.
