Bullets supporters committee top officials suspended
Bullets FC have suspended their main supporters committee General Secretary Mabvuto Chibambo and treasurer Bruce Tambwali following the K16 million gross revenue realised from the game against archrivals Mighty Be Forward Wanderers.
Bullets board of trustees James Busile confirmed the suspension of Chibambo and Tambwali in connection with the manning of gates by Joka Investments.
Bullets General Secretary Titha Mandiza is also facing investigations for approving Joka Investments.
“Following a meeting that we [trustees] had with the club chairperson it has been recommended that the two should be suspended immediately to pave the way for investigations,” Busile said.
“There are lots of allegations that have been made against the two and in addition to that players were even boycotting training demanding their resignation.”
Bullets players were boycotting training because of irregularities in the handling of gate revenue by supporters.
“The players understanding is that they could not be paid their dues because there were irregularities in the handling of the game collection by the supporters and yet they got an assurance that they would be paid all their outstanding dues from the proceeds,” he said.
In reaction to his suspension Chibambo said the executive committee was also part of the mess.
“As supporters we only recommended that Joka Investments should be used to manage the gates. This is not the first time for them to manage Super League games. They have been there before.”

Am a Bullets fan but sometimes this big club let me down in their thinking. I dont know whether its “..flash yanyimbo kale syndrome..” 1stly Joka investiments never pre-sold the tickets so how come they r being singled out when the gates were severally manned by Govt, Sulom and Police? 2ndly the players training boycot is out of order because as employees of the club they’ll get their monies regardless of whether the monies were stolen or not.
