Bullets top fan Mwamadi to go unopposed
Nyasa Big Bullets top fan Stone Mwamadi might be ushered in for another temr unopposed as there are no aspirants to challenge him at the Annual General Meeting (AGM).
Chairman of the organising committee of the AGM, Gregory Madeya, said only the position of supporters chairman has no challenger.
He said vice chairman post there will be two contestants, Bruno Gama and George Wonderson.
Three people will compete on position of supporters secretary. They are Emmanuel Chikoti, Willam Alubi and Mabvuto Chibambo.
Chisomo Chikwembani and Watson Masika will vie for the post of vice secretary.
On treasure post the contest will be between Davie Matemba and Chingeni Kadamanja. Three people face each other on deputy treasure post; Ganizani Mpinganjira, Mabvuto Njuzi and Yohane Piyo.
Those aspiring to be committee members include: Jack Mavutula, William Chiuzeni, Maggie Kamala, Gimlet Chuma, Wonderful Belo, Frank Makalani, Steven Saizi, Judith Chinyama and Julias Matiki.
Trustees’ secretary Jim Kalua on Monday said he was yet to receive supporters’ nominations but admitted that he had only heard names of possible aspirants.
