CHILIMA MOVEMENT? IS THAT A MOVEMENT? Chilima is positioning himself as a Presidential candidate. And more than one among many: as a vice President he has gotten a lot of publicity. Mostly as the champion of the civil service reform, which was expertly blocked by the vested interests of the civil service, who were supported by the vested interests in DPP. The President, as usual, did nothing. Otherwise Chilima is known for starting out hyper-actively, but soon being forced into submission to the sluggish speed of our government apparatus (unless there are allowances or lucrative contracts to be had: that’s… Read more »

we’re still in trouble Malawians cause what I have discovered is that every one is after a high position not solving Malawians problems. Ya there is freedom of joining or forming other political parties but as I can see these are same blood they have made Malawi ans to suffer

Nothing new can come from MCP. This is the same party that caused a lot of Malawians to shed tears. This party is actually a murderous club. If they have changed, let them change their symbol. So long as their symbol is Tambala Wakuda, be assured sanasinthe, akangolowa m’boma muliranso.

In 1993, we voted for multiparty democracy and succeeded. Today a Malawian is free to form his or her political party . He or she is also free to join any party. Hence let no one intimidate Chilimas freedom. He is a son of our land. He is a new generation leader. He has a vision for his country. He feels sorry for his fellow citizens who are suffering due to extreme poverty. Poor healthcare services. Poor education facilities. Almost no electricity for the economy to grow. Neglected agriculture programmes. The country needs a young and energetic leader like Chilima.… Read more »

I welcome your movement but i would love you to support Chakwera if you really want a change in Malawi. If you want to form your own party and contest in the next coming elections then there you are not helping the many suffering Malawians in the diaphora.People in the diaphora will always think that it is the same DPP faces.

GO GO CHILIMA!!!!!! You have inspired us tremendously during your very successful rally in Monkey-Bay.You have said what the overwhelming people of the whole nation wanted to hear.Carry on!!! You are the leader of the people of the dehumanised and poverty-stricken nation. For your information, what you have spoken, instilled into our people great hope and enthusiasm to love their beloved mother Malawi which they had lost hope in view of the fact that, the previous leaders forgot about them and concentrated on personal aggrandisement while children of poverty striken families go without food and clean water.Chilima, tribalism in Malawi has grown deep roots… Read more »

Though am not a DPP supporter I foresee this bunch of crooked comedians won’t achieve any thing at all. Ata mapulani awa muzingo pemphera kuti peter asazawinetu muzazibibira kwa sabata…. I regret for not voting peter for presidency during the last election, he is a deal. Amadziwa kukhala bwino ndi anthu akadakhala ena mwano mukuchita uja bwenzi mutanyenyedwa kale because peter knew that you want to provoke him and when he act vehemently his venom as a president with a constituition protection by arresting failures, you bring instability among the society……. Mwanya, he is quite leaving you doing your trash.… Read more »

I have never seen zitsiru za anthu ngati inu…happy at the expense of poor Malawians…destroying our country for your selfish reasons – SHAME ON YOU. What has DDP down other than stealing and destroying the country…How could Mutharika say he will develop the country to the standard of Europe yet he failed to do so to the standard of Rwanda – which is on of the fastest developing country in Africa. I live in Europe and feel sorry for my country with people like you…just wasting our taxes that we pay here and you get as FOREIGN AID in Africa… Read more »
