Chilima says UTM has no stronghold: ‘It is a national party’

19. If UTM were a national party , it would mean its base is the whole country. Even in advanced democracies like US, you can’t win without a defined base. It doesn’t have to be a physical location although it most often is.

    You could easily have said the youth are your base but even there , ndizogawana.

    1. Have you head APH speak about people who disagree with him . He is the one with mkwiyo. If Malawians still leave in dark ages without change then there is no hope for Malawi. Chilima was “turfed” out of DPP because he disagreed with kuba kwa DPP with impunity. Chilima has never been implicated with corruption or nepotism. Chilima is the only hope for Malawi unless you are one of those who have benefited from thieving.
       Those who say parties in developing countries have bases eg in UK or America etc these have ideological bases which are different from each other. The Voters change from party to party without being paid to vote for a political party.
