Chill DJ’s 2014 competition is back
Chill DJ’s 2014 battle is back in style, with the winner booking himself a ticket to South Africa to Win a Master Class Session with one of South Africa’s Finest DJs –Oskido in his Studio plus being given MK600, 000.
Semi Finalists will pocket MK 50 000 each.
The revelation was made on Thursday at Carlsberg Malawi Head Offices during a news conference addressed by Carlsberg Malawi Senior brand manager alcoholic Twikale Chirwa.
Twikale said this year’s competition will be a nationwide brand promotion and that the activation will run from March 2014 to July 2014.
He said DJ will open registration on 5 Feb and close on 20 Feb.
Twikale said primarily, it is a DJ competition in Image Night Clubs that will influence and entertain consumers because of trendy personalities and cold Carlsberg Chill.
He said this will give an opportunity for Malawian DJs to showcase their talent and earn a living to promote the art and interact with Chill consumers and entertain.
“It will also help increase awareness of the new brand and sustain the momentum,” he said.
Twikale said they will activate 30 Image night clubs nationwide with Carlsberg Chill DJs concept.
“We will hold at least 3 open air Carlsberg Chill activation events with phase 1 –Nationwide Registration of Chill Djs from 6-20 February. “
DJ Maya is the current cup holder after winning the 2013 Chill DJ battle competition.
