Chipungu donates school essentials to Luchenza pupils heading to secondary school

Minister of Lands, Housing and Urban Development, Chimwemwe Chipungu, who is also Member of Parliament for Luchenza, has donated a package of essential school items to pupils from Luchenza Primary School who have been selected to begin Form One at various secondary schools.

During the handover event, the students received school bags, blankets, exercise books and other learning materials to help them prepare for the transition to secondary education.

Purpose

Organisers said the donation is intended to encourage the learners as they embark on their secondary school journey, ensuring they have both the resources and the confidence needed to succeed academically.

Speaking at the event, Minister Chipungu urged the pupils to work hard, maintain good discipline and make the most of the educational opportunities before them in pursuit of their ambitions. He said supporting children in education amounts to investing in the future of the nation.
