Church says Chimbalawala dupes Malawians by claiming to work for Prophet Bushiri

Rhudo Chimbalawala, described by  Enlightened Christian Gathering Church (ECG) as  a trickster from Lilongwe has been at the centre of controversy following reports that he has been duping Malawians and different people from elsewhere by claiming to be Prophet Shepherd Bushiri’s errand boy.

Chimbalawala reportedly claims that he has the mandate, given by Major 1 to facilitate travels under the office of International Visitors, a weekly pilgrim program to meet the man of God in South Africa.

However, posting on Facebook, Prophet Bushiri’s Public Relations Officer Kelvin Sulugwe alerted Malawians that Chimbalawala is not an employee of ECG and Prophet Shepherd Bushiri Ministries.

“A number of friends have asked me if I know this gentleman Rhudo Chimbalawala and to confirm if he works for ECG under the International Visitors department. Well, I know most people in that department and I also know a lot of people that have A Level Access to the Major 1, but unfortunately, this gentleman is not one of such,” posted Sulugwe on his official page.

“I don’t intend to embarrass Mr Rhudo Chimbalawala in public, but the reports I have received scared me. Thanks to those that took time to verify if the man in mention indeed works with ECG. Please do not give him your money for the sake of him arranging your travel to and from Malawi in the name of ECG.”

“I sympathize with those who believed his lies and went ahead to make some church related arrangements especially on visiting the Prophet before getting in touch with the office of the Prophet.”

Nyasa Times investigation in the matter established that Chimbalawala duped one Dr Nthala from Malawi a whooping MK2 million, promising him of a one on one meeting with Major 1.

Another man from UK Robert Malcolm also expressed his encounter with Rhudo.

“He sent me a message with a link of Major 1 which reported about the church project. He gave me his whatsapp number which is +265 88 819 5666 and was in touch with him. I believed him that I was about to send money to him until I saw the PRO’s message on Facebook,” explained Malcolm in a phone interview with Nyasa Times.

According to information provided by ECG’s International Visitors office, people only pay travel and accommodation logistics and not necessarily money to give the billionaire prophet. The same money also caters for meals of the visitors for a period of three days.

Kikikiki! This Chimbalawala is a great guy! Conning the master tricksters out of their con money!

Apparently this Rudo guy is just eating the proceeds of crime himself instead of remitting to Bushiri the mastermind of this great swindle!

Thanks Imraan for the enlightenment which is off line. I really appreciate for your ignorance in God’s Word, Koran, oops! I mean Bible. This prophet indeed is not God, but just mere servant of true God, and preaches JESUS who wasn’t eaten by the pigs but died and rose again and gives salvation to everyone who puts his faith in Him.
