Class act Chinthenga hits 4 goals to narrow golden boots odds: Malawi TNM Super League
Malawi TNM Super League relegated side Bvumbwe Research front man Vincent Chithenga scored four goals for his side’s 6-1 win over fellow relegated Escom United at Kamuzu Stadium on Saturday to move to the top scoring charts.
Chithenga, who has been leading throughout the season until recently when he faced competition from Silver Striker’s Rodrick Gonani and Epac FC’s Ishmael Thindwa having scored 14 goals apiece, has taken his tally to 18.
Both Gonani and Thindwa were also in action when the bankers hosted Thindwa’s Epac FC at Silver stadium, but they failed to score.

The win means Bvumbwe finish the season on position 13, thus third from bottom with 24 points while Escom have 19 points with a game in hand but will finish second from bottom even if they win their last game.
