Saenda said the league will help queen’s technical panel to prepare for the forth coming 2017 FAST 5 World Series to be played in Australia.

“As you are aware GOtv netball league takes the formant of FAST 5, so we will use this tournament to scout for national team players that will take part in the FAST 5 World Series which will be played in Australia in October,” Saenda said.

In a statement, Multichoice Malawi sales and marketing manager Chimwemwe Nyirenda said the success of the Queens at the 2016 FAST 5 has shown that the players benefited from that tournament.

“We hope coaches can also use this league to select players best suited for the FAST 5 and prepare the national team for more success,” Nyirenda said.
