Complex Tigresses in double win

High flying Complex Tigresses underscored their superiority over small teams in the OG Issa Southern Region Netball League on Tuesday after registering two victories against Gerald Tasaukadala and Shizaela.

Tigresses pruned Gerald Tasaukadala 120-14 before whacking Shizaela 120-19 on the same venue to the satisfaction of their coach Peace Chawinga Kaluwa.

In both matches, Tigresses blended experienced and young players.

However, it was the same slippery goal shooter Sindi Simutowe for Tigresses who stole the show as she converted most of the baskets for her side.

Tigresses coach Kaluwa said she was happy with her players of putting up a good performance to register two wins which will boost their chances in the campaign for the title

“This is encouraging and we will continue working hard to grab the title. I am so delighted because most of the players which l featured are not regular players, but they displayed a stunning performance,” said Kaluwa.

Southern Region Netball League general secretary Annie Hanjahanja said she was impressed with the performances of teams so far in the League and discipline.

“So far so good, and we are impressed with the teams. They are displaying some good skills. People should expect more  mid week games,” she said.
