Confident Bullets host Civil Sporting: Carlsberg Cup
Nyasa Big Bullets will square off with Civil Sporting Club in the Carlsberg Cup Round of 32 matches at the MDC Stadium on Wednesday afternoon.
The Peoples Team is coming off a 1-0 victory to Kamuzu Barracks in their previous league match which was played at the Kalulu Stadium.
Bullets have been impressive at home in the league than in their outings and interim coach Elijah Kananji says they are set for Civil Sporting.
“At home we need to triumph, but more importantly, winning at home is what our fans deserve for the support they always give us here,” said Kananji.
However, Civil Sporting Club Team Manager, Gabriel Chirwa said they are coming to Blantyre on a mission not as tourists.
“We have a mission to accomplish, and we are hopeful that after 90 minutes we will sing victory songs,” he said.
In other games on Wednesday, Kamuzu Barracks will play Mtsiliza at Civo Stadium, while Azam Tigers takes on Cobbe Barracks at Kalulu Stadium.
