Banda was sent off for ultering abusive words towards the referee on Friday in a game Kamuzu Barracks beat Epac F.C 2-1 thanks to a striker Manase Chiyesa’s brace.

At this far, 21 red cards have been issued with Kamuzu Barracks registering six red cards, three have gone to Mighty Beforward Wanderers while Moyale Barracks, Azam Tigers and Mafco have registered two each.

Blue Eagles, Airborne Rangers, Eac and Silver Strikers have registered a sing red card each.

Richard Mbulu of Mafco has received two red card one behind Banda.

In Fridays game, Chiyesa opened the score sheet in the 12th minute before Mude Jefrey equalised to force the game into a one all draw at recess.

However, it was the soldiers side who took the lead in the second half despite playing with one man down.

They scored through a penalty converted by Chiyesa after an Epac player had handled the ball in the penalty box.

After the final whistle, Julius Mkwinja almost exchanged blows with an Epac player who injured him during the game.

Mkwinja suffered a cut on his mouth after he was elbowed in an aerial combat.

But Mkwinja was cooled down by fellow team mates.

According to Kamuzu Barracks Assistant Coach Kenwood Nkhoma, the Epac player was at fault for deliberately hitting his player.

“It was an Epac player who hit our player up to the extent of bleeding” said Nkhoma.
