Davido show in Malawi not taking place

Nigerian musician Davido is not coming for the launch of the Go Green Campaign in Malawi as earlier publicised, his manager has confirmed.

His manager Kamal Ajiboye, said the artist will not perform this weekend in Malawi as they had planned because the organisers needed more planning to do to hold such a concert.

Davido was billed to perform alongside a couple of Malawian artists including The Black Missionaries and Lucius Banda at Civo Stadium.

“Davido is no longer coming to Malawi,” said Ajiboye.

Ministry of energy, mines and natural resources lead consultant, Stephen Otieno also said the artist will not perform but they are discussing with his manager to have him later.
