Ndala said apart from Ngulube, ACB has also arrested a procurement officer for Mangochi District Council, Michael Khoko and businessperson Malison Mpiwu who was a supplier at the council.

“The businessperson owns a garage un Mangochi and was arrested yesterday [Monday] on allegations that he supplied vetiver grass to Mangochi District Council wheres Khoko was arrested [Tuesday],” Ndala said.

She said the three suspects will be taken to court “where they will be formally charged.”

Ndala said the charges will relate to “misappropriation” of LDF funds.

How much is vertiver money to be talking about? ACB is useless. You fail to deal with real issues. Arrest Chaponda first you idiots. If it is capacity challenge in your organisation, then I think it is serious.

True. ACB should stop investigating minor cases while serious cases involving dpp politicians are just idle in their offices. I fear this Nguluwe might be in affiliate to a certain oppostion party, thus his arrest.
