The first half ended goalless, with both teams failing to convert chances that were created in the half.

But although Young Soccer were unimpressive in the opening stages of the second half, they were revitalised by grabbing scored by the lively Balaka.

Blending players like Precious Chiphaka, Jusa Mpachika, Chisomo Mpachika, Chisomo Giliyani and Pachalo Ngwira, the Young Soccer held on to their lead to collect rare maximum points for the newly promoted side.

Dedza mentor Milias Pofera hailed his boys for the win saying this will inspire the boys to maintain the winning streak.
