DPP suspend libidinous treasurer caught  having sex with married woman

Ruling Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) has suspended treasurer for the North Happy Kumwenda for  inappropriate conduct  after he was allegedly caught red-handed having sex with a married woman.

DPP secretary general Ecklen Kudontoni said they could not entertain Kumwenda’s lewd, libidinous and indecent behaviour.

Kudontoni said the party are conducting their own internal investigation into the allegations against Kumwenda, who is also a board member of Malawi Housing Corporation(MHC).

“Kumwenda will be called to a discipilary hearing. He needs to be heard as well before disciplining him,” said Kudontoni.

Kumwenda was reportedly caught having  sex  with Mirriam Chembe Mkandawire, a wife to Victor Mkandawire.

Police were called in to control the crowd from administering mob justice on the two.

The development comes barely months after Kumwenda survived an attack from unknown thugs who shot him on the back.
