DPP tells youth not to go to court during ruling on Malawi poll case

Ruling Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) has told its cadets and other youth to follow the landmark election case ruling on radio instead of going to the Constitutional Court in Lilongwe.

DPP director of youth Dyton Mussa said this at a press conference party secretary general Grezelder Jefrey held on Tuesday in Lilongwe.

The Constitutional Court is expected to make its ruling on the case early next year.

“We want our youth to remain in their homes and follow the case on radio, that is what we want,” said Mussa.

This is in sharp contrast to what the director of youth in Malawi Congress Party (MCP) Richard Chimwendo Banda recently said, telling party officials to ferry people from all corners of the country to the court during the verdict day.

Jefrey told the youth to remain calm and peaceful as the country awaits the court ruling.

She said the DPP would respect the outcome of the court case.

  7. I don’t believe an aorta what comes from the DPP tribalistic political party. These Mulhako people are blood thirty killers and very difficult to control violence minded savages and thieves. They stole our votes and impose themselves on us. The point is that we have voted these animals out of our government but to stay in power they unleash terror on other Malawian tribes. It is a time we other none violence Malawians stand up against these thugs and vampires by all means necessary to protect our children, women, and grandmothers. What these Mulhako thugs did to our women in Lilongwe we shouldn’t allow to happen again. They went on raping spree regardless to the age of a woman. This is insane. These DPP cadets can be compared to Interhangwe in Rwanda that committed genocide. The same atrocities committed by Interhangwe in Rwanda are being replicated in Malawi. Why women have to pay the price of the “sins” that men committed? It is time Malawian men regardless which region you come from—-stand up together to protect our women and children. The DPP cadets have infiltrated the Malawi Police Force. They don’t work in the interests of protecting Malawians but in the interests of the ruling party, DPP. I know they are some good police officers in the Malawian Police Force, and they should stand up against these Mulhako thugs that have penetrated into their police force. Whether this person is a station commander must be brought down to face our laws. The DPP leadership is calling cease fire against Malawian people because they have acknowledged they are the political party of violence. They live by violence, and they will die by violence. The DPP terrorists cadets are armed with machetes, pangas, and guns to kill those who disagree with Peter Hitler Mutharika. When Peter Hitler Mutharika address his followers uses the language of violence. For e.g; after another thief, Jane Asnah, declared him a winner—he went to Lilongwe with Mulhako soldiers armed to teeth against defenceless citizens of Lilongwe. On the podium he mocked other political party leaders by saying that he “fucked them up, and they will shit in their pants.” He urged his Mulhako DPP cadets to start violence against other tribes. That kind of behavior of unleashing terror on other tribes show that Peter Hitler Mutharika is a hardcore tribalist, regionalistic, blood thirty monster, and a savage. I don’t know why do you even call this savage a professor. We will fight you Mr. Peter Hitler Mutharika to our last blood. Alluta Continuaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!

  14. If only a tiny fraction of what the DPP cadets leader says were true!!
    My thoughts go to zikwanje wielding gang, the hoodlums with knives pinned down by MDF men at ShopRite, the hacking of Mayaya near Trade Fair grounds, the molesting of defenceless and innocent people, the intorelance to others wearing their party colours etc etc. These acts do not really portray a peace loving youths.

    That said, no party is sending it’s youth to the ConCourt anyway.
