I can see UDF well wishers have sensed danger in this marriage of convenience. They don’t want this panga knife party to swallow them in broad day light. UDF is suffering from leadership problems because Atupele is a young man full of greed and has demonstrated to be the worst youth leader. I think he rides on his dad’s back otherwise he could not have been the party president. Unfortunately for Malawi parties have become family properties and as such parties are more of liabilities to Malawians than assets.
this is the end of Atupere’s political carrer just like Aford and Chihana did. He is an opportunist and he only wants to be a minister despite the party loving UDF as a party on its own. He is following his father’s political carrer of roping others for money like he did with Gwanda and Chihana both died poor of course. He too will die poor.
