“We will surely mesmerise the fans and are encouraged to come early! Security will be tight. Elly K is just a budding star but her singing sensation will leave you crying for more. Her sensual dances are provocative and not for the faint hearted! She is a marvel to watch and no wonder when she gets on stage patrons are hypnotised and left in awe,” explained Jai Banda of Entertainers Promotions organizing the events.

Banda said they opted for the star-studded line-up due to the nature of the events and give a deserving package for both Carlsberg and the country’s Independence celebrations over the weekend.

From Blantyre on 7th July, the team of performers is expected to storm central region with Lilongwe Golf Club in particular.

Banda said: “The shows will feature the best on the local music scene and artists include Sir Lucius Banda an artist who has stood the test of time and is fresh from a South African tour! Fans will be eager to see if his act has changed and whether he has brought in new antics after his month long sojourn in South Africa.

“The Blacks are riding high with their new album Kuimba 9 with their songs constantly hitting the airwaves. Anjiru Fumulani the Jewel of Chileka is sure to shine at these shows. The bass guitar wizard Peter Amidu is another man to watch and the nimble fingered Chizondi Fumulani will surely wow the crowds”.

The highest expectation out of all the billed performers is Anthony Makondetsa with his chart buster Muyuda has become a darling of the crowds, and it will not be surprising if the audience will be crying for more as it always does.

The fabulous Police Orchestra is also listed to be in attendance. The band was a hit years back with chart toppling songs, and has now got its groove back, set to take the audience on vintage ride.

Skeffa Chimoto, the Jamming Machine, is ever-shining flag carrier for Lilongwe and his attendance manifest what a consistent star he is that could not be easily ignored.
