The Entertainers Promotions is ready with Malawi’s celebrated reggae power house the Black Missionaries Kuimba 11 album launch which is set on June 29 at Robins Park in Blantyre and July 1 at Lilongwe Golf Club in Lilongwe.
According to Jai Banda of Entertainers Promotions, the preparations are in the final stages for launch and promised fans to expect world class gigs at both venues.
“We have put our heart into the Blacks launch. There are no shortcuts in this as we want to give people their money’s worth,” he said.
The launch follows the release of four songs from the new album by celebrated reggae power house the Black Missionaries, popularly known as Ma Blacks.
The four songs are Zofuna Ntima Wanga, Umboni, Special lover and M’busa which are already available on different online platforms for downloading.
Among those to perform area Anthony Makondetsa, Lucius Banda and Zembani Band, Dan Lu, Skeffa Chimoto and the Gospel Kings Great Angels Choir.
“The launch is going to leave a mark in this country and I mean just that,” said Banda.
In an interview with Nyasa Times, Ma Blacks Band Leader Anjiru Fumulani said the album is all about giving hope and humanity to the mankind.
“The messages are tailored with a focus on peace, love and harmony,” he said.
“We are almost done with the album. We decided to release these four songs to enable our fans have a feel of what is coming,” said Fumulani.
The album has been produced by Amos Mulolowa at Active A studios in Ndirande.
